During July parishioners of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, through the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, provided about $5,500 in assistance to our neighbors in need. This includes about $1,500 of food and $1,300 in grocery gift cards to 99 families.
We also provided about $2,500 to help with electric bills. Some of these families had already had their electricity disconnected and others were in danger of losing their power. Additionally, we provided about $144 to families to assist them in paying their water bills.
